Harm Reduction Therapy

Harm Reduction Therapy offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your relationship with alcohol or substances—without pressure, shame, or expectations to follow an all-or-nothing path. Whether you’re curious about moderation, reducing harm, taking a break, or simply understanding your patterns more clearly, this approach meets you exactly where you are.

Rooted in Motivational Interviewing, Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care, our work centers your autonomy and lived experience. Together, we’ll explore what your use is doing for you, what it may be costing you, and what changes—big or small—feel meaningful and realistic. We’ll also build coping tools, emotional regulation skills, and personalized strategies that support your values, your nervous system, and your goals.

You define the direction. I’m here to help you move toward it with clarity, steadiness, and support.

What to Expect.

In Harm Reduction Therapy, you can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where your goals—not mine—guide the work. We’ll explore your relationship with alcohol or substances with curiosity rather than shame, looking at what patterns are doing for you, where they feel stuck, and what kinds of changes feel possible.

Together, we’ll build practical strategies to reduce harm, regulate your nervous system, and support the shifts you want to make—whether that’s drinking less, using less often, taking breaks, or simply understanding yourself more fully. There’s no pressure, no all-or-nothing rules, and no expectation that you already know your destination.

This is your process. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
