Harm Reduction Group Therapy

This virtual group is a supportive, judgment-free space for adults exploring their relationship with alcohol or other substances. There is no requirement to quit, cut back, or have a specific goal to participate.

The group is grounded in a harm reduction approach, focusing on safety, understanding, and choice—not pressure or labels. Whether you’re feeling curious, stuck, conflicted, or just wanting clearer information, you’re welcome exactly where you are.

"I feel at ease in Maddie's presence. She has unique tools that may offer an important alternative for those with a problematic relationship to substances. Her expertise is hard to find!"

What to Expect.

Sessions focus on learning and practical tools to help you understand patterns around use, stress, urges, and emotions. You’ll gain strategies to feel more grounded and in control during difficult moments, with space for reflection and optional discussion.

This is not an abstinence-based or confrontational group. You’re never expected to share more than feels comfortable. The group is trauma-informed, supportive, and centered on helping you explore what meaningful change looks like for you—whether that’s moderation, safer use, or simply more clarity.
