Trauma
Start Your Journey Here
Trauma isn’t just something that happened in the past—it can shape how your body responds, how you relate to others, and how safe or overwhelmed you feel day-to-day. You may notice anxiety, shutdown, difficulty trusting, or patterns that feel hard to shift. None of this means something is “wrong” with you—your nervous system has been doing its best to protect you.
In our work together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface, at a pace that feels safe. We’ll focus on understanding your body’s responses, reducing shame, building emotional regulation skills, and creating more space for connection, empowerment, and choice.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to support you with compassion, steadiness, and attuned care as you move toward greater safety, clarity, and resilience in your life.
"Maddie is insightful, curious, and easy to connect with! I recommend her wholeheartedly."

How I Support Healing After Trauma
-
Understand Your Nervous System's Response
Trauma shows up in the body long before we have words for it. Together, we’ll gently explore the patterns, sensations, and reactions that your nervous system learned to use to keep you safe. Instead of focusing on “what’s wrong,” we’ll look at what’s happening with compassion and curiosity. This helps you build awareness, reduce shame, and begin creating more space and choice in how you respond.
-
Build Regulation, Grounding, and Internal Safety
We’ll work with practical, evidence-based tools—like grounding, sensory strategies, breath-work, and emotion regulation techniques—to support your nervous system when it feels overwhelmed or shut down. These skills help you feel more steady and connected, especially during moments that previously felt unmanageable. You’ll learn to soothe your body, understand your emotions, and reconnect with your internal sense of safety.
-
Strengthen Relationships, Boundaries, and Self-Trust
Healing from trauma often involves relearning how to relate to yourself and others in ways that feel safe and empowering. We’ll explore healthier boundaries, communication skills, and ways of connecting that support the life you want. Over time, you’ll build resilience, deepen self-trust, and develop new patterns that reflect who you’re becoming—not what you’ve survived.
Healing from trauma takes time, care, and the right kind of support. You don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system, gently navigating what’s been overwhelming while building more steadiness, clarity, and connection in your life.
If you’re ready for support that’s compassionate, non-judgmental, and truly collaborative, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
